Butter keeper #2
Thrown in a buff stoneware St Agnes clay with a light granite satin matte glaze.
Dimensions:
W 8.7cm
H 9.5cm
Holds approx. 240g butter
The pot pictured is the one you will receive. Please note there is a small spot on the lid where the glaze didn’t cover-see pic. Hence the slight drop in price.
All pieces are individually thrown by hand on the wheel. Slight variations between them in size, glaze and shape are to be expected from the images displayed. The individuality of every handmade piece is what makes them unique.
All items are food and dishwasher safe, however handwashing with care is preferred to maintain the quality of the piece.
Fill the lid with room temperature butter. Place a small amount of water inside main jar then replace the lid (when the correct amount of water is added, you will feel a slight resistance removing the lid. This creates an airtight seal) place on worktop and change the water every few days. This will keep for up to a month at room temperature.
